Hi there, everyone! My
name is Dwi Deta Artio, I am one of STBA Pertiwi graduates in 2014. I would
love to share my experience during my time as a student there.
The best
things about studying at STBA Pertiwi are good friends and good lecturers. I
might late for class several times, I did not attend few lectures during my
three years, and I did trivial things at campus as if I had no intention to
study. Well, it’s clearly obvious if you see it that way. However, in my very
own perspective, those mistakes were just a bumpy road in my campus journey.
It’s normal for a student to behave that way, but I did my best finishing my
study so I thought that the outcome is what really counted. In case if you ever
wondered what the best moment for during my time in STBA Pertiwi is, I would
answer that the moment when I, my classmate, and my lecturers laughed and had
fun together when we were in a class, we studied and had fun simultaneously as
if there were no gap and boundary between us.
The reason why I became one of the best graduates is that
I clearly didn’t have the slightest idea. I never intended to be one, though.
All I did was studying English in my own way and pace. The result of my study
has completely taken my breath away, even until the moment I typed this
profile. If I sat down and thought about the reason I could become one of the
best graduates, it would be the passion. I must say, I have passion in learning
English since I was a little kid because I think English is the coolest
language ever, I still do. However, being the best is completely a whole new
experience for me, so it’s all thanks to my passion. It should be noted that I
didn’t have the ambition to be one of the best, so I was speechless myself when
I knew the result.
So I should tell my
fellow STBA Pertiwi students that the key of learning English is the passion
you have within you, if you let it lingers in your heart, you will always do your
best, the process will be fun but the outcome will be very good respectively.
Remember, learning English is certainly not a piece of cake, but it’s clearly
not a pie in the sky. If I, along with other graduates, can do it, so can you.
You just have to believe in yourself, work hard, and unleash your desire to
learn more. As for STBA Pertiwi, thank you for everything, for those three
years I barely went through yet it means a lot to me. Keep up the good work!
